Dressing/Sealed Welds

Identify an area of the vehicle that has had a structural component replaced:
- Frame rail
- Rocker panel
- Quarter panel
Locate the MIG welds on the repair area.
Grind the weld nuggets down with an 80-grit grinder disk, stopping before grinding into the substrate.
Use a DA sander or clean and strip wheel to clean off the repair area, to prepare for topcoat.
Ensure that all burned paint and undercoating has been removed, so that topcoat can be applied.
After completion, take a photo of the component replaced showing welds dressed and cleaned.
