Damage Identification

Identify an area of the vehicle that has structural damage such as:
- Frame rail
- Rocker panel
- Quarter panel
With the assistance of your mentor, identify the areas of direct and indirect damage on the vehicle.
This can include:
- Panel gap that are misaligned
- Bolt heads that have moved position
- Visible buckles or bends in the vehicle structure.
Consider mechanical components as well, including steering and suspension.
Document areas of hidden damage on a vehicle, by taking a photo of the area, showing the damage indicator.
