Welded Panel Fit

Perform fit of a welded-on panel, such as a rear body or quarter panel.
Using the Alldata procedure, identify the type of attachment, placement of section joints, and any adhesives or foams.
Install the new panel to be welded onto the vehicle, and secure in place with clamps.
Install the adjacent panels, such as doors, hatch or hood, to ensure that vehicle is dimensionally correct and that the panel is properly positioned.
Mark the panel for fitment, then prep the surface for installation of welds, or rivets and adhesives.
Take a photo of the welded-on panel fit and clamped on the vehicle prior to installation.
