Complete the 609 Certification Test
Depending on the repair being completed, either perform A/C recovery or recharge.
- Identify the correct refrigerant type R-134a or R-1234yf
- Select the proper A/C machine equipment
- Hook up high-side line
- Hook up low-side line
- Run A/C procedure needed
If recovering refrigerant, document the amount recovered on the vehicle, to ensure that any additional refrigerant is billed on the estimate.
Take a photo of the vehicle you are working on, showing A/C machine hooked up and operating.
