The Crash Champions Collision Repair Team today proudly announced that its longstanding Charity Golf Outing event successfully raised a record $165,000 for Make-A-Wish Illinois, the highest total in the event’s 10-year history.

The presentation was made Wednesday (Sept. 13) at Bolingbrook Golf Club in Bolingbrook, Illinois, where the golf outing hosted Crash Champions’ leadership team members, insurance partners, vendors and community leaders. Together, Crash Champions and golfers at the event rallied to raise funds benefitting Make-A-Wish Illinois and its work benefitting children across Illinois. Funds were raised through entry fees, sponsorships, a silent auction and raffle tickets.

"We extend our gratitude to the Crash Champions team for their ongoing support of our mission to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses," said Ashley White, gift officer for Make-A-Wish Illinois. "A child makes a wish, but the community makes a difference. We look forward to our continued work with Crash Champions, creating moments of strength and inspiration for these remarkable children."

The annual Crash Champions Charity Golf Outing has now raised more than $450,000 for Make-A-Wish Illinois through its 10-year history. Meanwhile, with the $165,000 contribution at the 2023 event, the company is now the single largest community fundraiser to Make-A-Wish Illinois.

“Crash Champions has a deep-rooted commitment to supporting Make-A-Wish Illinois,” said Matt Ebert, Founder and CEO of Crash Champions. “We believe in the importance of giving back to our communities, and Make-A-Wish's work exemplifies the kind of positive change we aspire to create. It is a wonderful organization that believes in the power of making life-long wishes a reality for children battling critical illnesses. On behalf of the entire Crash Champions team, we could not be prouder to partner with such an outstanding group.”
