Crash Champions Donates Vehicle to Veteran Support Organization Through NABC® Recycled Rides Program
Crash Champions, one of the nation’s fastest-growing collision repair providers, partnered with GEICO and the National Auto Body Council® (NABC) to donate a refurbished vehicle to support veterans and military families through the NABC Recycled Rides® program. The presentation took place at the American Legion in North Augusta, South Carolina, on June 3.
As part of the event, representatives from WNYHeroes, Inc. and its Pawsitive for Heroes program, Chris Kreiger and Sara Hillyard, accepted the keys to a fully restored 2021 Kia Sorento on behalf of the organization. The vehicle was donated by GEICO and refurbished by the Crash Champions team at its Grovetown location.
WNYHeroes is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for veterans, active-duty service members and their families. Through a variety of programs and resources, the organization helps address challenges related to financial stability, housing, transportation, health and wellness. Its Pawsitive for Heroes initiative connects veterans with service and support animals that provide companionship, assistance and improved quality of life.
"This vehicle will help us expand our reach and better serve the veterans and families who rely on our programs," said Chris Kreiger of WNYHeroes. "Access to reliable vehicles is essential to the work we do every day, and this donation will allow us to continue providing critical support to those who have served our country. We are incredibly grateful to Crash Champions, GEICO and the NABC® for their generosity and partnership."
The donated vehicle will support WNYHeroes/Pawsitive for Heros efforts, helping the organization transport service animals, connect with veterans in need and expand access to critical resources for military families throughout the communities it serves. The event highlighted the collaborative effort behind the donation, bringing together industry professionals, community leaders and veteran advocates committed to supporting veterans and military families.
"Dependable transportation plays an important role in helping organizations like WNYHeroes continue their mission," said Matt Ebert, Founder and CEO of Crash Champions. "We are honored to support a group that works tirelessly on behalf of veterans and military families, and we're proud to partner with GEICO and the NABC® to help further that impact."
