Crash Champions, GEICO, and National Auto Body Council Present Vehicle to U.S. Marine Corps Veteran in Indianapolis
Crash Champions, one of the nation's fastest-growing, founder-led collision repair providers, partnered with GEICO and the National Auto Body Council (NABC)® to present a refurbished 2018 RAM 1500 Sport to U.S. Marine Corps Veteran Jay Rasche through the NABC Recycled Rides® program. The presentation took place on Monday (Sept. 21) in Indianapolis in support of the VA Medical Center and its work serving local veterans.
Mr. Rasche served in the United States Marine Corps from 1982 to 1985 before building a career in stone masonry and restoration. After a period of time where physical limitations prevented him from continuing in the trade, Mr. Rasche is now preparing to return to full-time employment through a VA Medical Center work therapy program.
The vehicle, which will help Mr. Rasche get to work and medical appointments, was donated by GEICO and refurbished by the Crash Champions team, whose technicians volunteered their time and expertise to prepare the truck. Through NABC Recycled Rides®, collision repair businesses, insurers and other industry partners work together to restore vehicles and donate them to individuals and families in need of reliable transportation.
