Crash Champions Golf Outing to Support Industry-Leading Collision Engineering Program
Crash Champions, one of the nation’s fastest-growing founder-led operators of high-quality automotive collision repair centers, today announced the Collision Engineering program will be the primary beneficiary of the Crash Champions 2024 Charity Golf Outing.
The Crash Champions Charity Golf Outing, which raised a record $165,000 for Make-A-Wish Illinois last year, is set to tee off Dec. 5 at Monarch Beach Golf Links in Dana Point, California. Automotive and collision repair industry partners interested in supporting the program are encouraged to visit the event website to view sponsorship opportunities.
“Our industry partners are vital to the success of the Collision Engineering program, and we are thrilled to partner with Crash Champions to help advance the next generation of collision repair professionals,” said Enterprise Mobility Vice President Mary Mahoney. “As new technologies are increasing the complexity of repairs, there is unprecedented demand for people with the right skills to join the industry. This partnership will support the need to invest in building a proven pipeline of talent to meet a national demand and drive greater impact.”
With partner schools across the nation, the Collision Engineering program is an exciting and innovative hybrid apprenticeship co-founded by the Enterprise Mobility Foundation and Ranken Technical College in St. Louis.
The program is designed to combat the widely documented skilled trade shortage by collaborating with the automotive industry and educational institutions to facilitate lifelong learning for the future leaders of collision repair. Collision Engineering’s proven model has resulted in a 100% job placement rate prior to graduation for participating students.
“Crash Champions’ ongoing support of the Collision Engineering program is a reflection of our vision: We Champion People,” said Crash Champions Founder and CEO Matt Ebert. “We believe engaging apprenticeship programs that connect technicians with real-world training environments are critical to meeting the accelerating demand for a highly skilled workforce. Collision Engineering is a proven model, and we’re proud to support their mission through the Crash Champions Charity Golf Outing.”
In the past 12 months, Crash Champions has hosted more than 25 Collision Engineering students as apprentices in its Skills Training Education Program (STEP) at repair centers across the U.S.
