OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.  — Crash Champions, one of the nation's fastest-growing, founder-led collision repair providers, joined Farmers Insurance, Honoring America's Warriors, and the National Auto Body Council (NABC) ® to present two refurbished vehicles to deserving veterans through the NABC Recycled Rides® program on July 29.

The donations recognized veterans whose military service was followed by unique challenges, but who shared a common need for dependable transportation.

U.S. Army Veteran Seth Andrew Nelson received a fully restored 2021 Subaru Outback, prepared by the Crash Champions team at its John Kilpatrick Turnpike repair center. A three-time Army enlistee with three honorable discharges, Nelson will soon begin training with a new service dog after his longtime companion, India, retires from active service. The training requires twice-weekly trips of nearly 250 miles, making reliable transportation essential as he prepares to work with his new service animal.

Also honored during the presentation was U.S. Navy Veteran Zackary Arthur Milner, who received a refurbished 2019 Buick Enclave restored by the Crash Champions team at its West Reno Avenue repair center. After serving from 2010 to 2017, Milner overcame a prolonged illness, the unexpected loss of his housing, and a period of homelessness. Today, he has rebuilt his life, volunteers at an equine therapy ranch, and continues working toward greater stability. Access to a reliable vehicle will help him travel more easily, expand employment opportunities, and remain active in his community.

"These presentations are about recognizing resilience," said Matt Ebert, Founder and CEO of Crash Champions. "Seth and Zackary have each overcome significant challenges with determination and perseverance. We are honored to support them, and our team members are immensely grateful to participate in this gifting as a small token of our appreciation for their service and sacrifice. We're also grateful to Farmers Insurance, Honoring America's Warriors, and the NABC for making these moments possible."

The NABC Recycled Rides® program brings together collision repair facilities, insurers, and industry partners to restore and donate vehicles that help remove barriers to opportunity. As a proud Level One member of the NABC®, Crash Champions is proud to support initiatives that create lasting opportunities for veterans, individuals, and families nationwide.
